The V Rod series is engineered with precision tapers and well defined actions to create a more natural and responsive interface between you and your environment. As every angler knows it’s often the subtle details that can make the difference between fishing and catching. That’s why we have taken so much care in creating and offering such a wide selection of rods in the V Rod series. Our V Rods are created in the USA using Shimano® designed blanks and hand wrapped Fuji® Hardloy® guides. The ferrules on the multi-piece rods as well as all premium Grade A cork handles, are custom fitted, shaped and filled to fit for each rod individually. New for 2003, selected casting models feature the new Fuji Exposed Blank reel seat for greater sensativity and comfort. The V Rod series also offers several casting, spinning and three-piece travel saltwater flats models to meet a wide variety of techniques used by anglers on both the Atlantic and Gulf coasts. However, there is a passion spreading for these flats style models throughout the Midwest to Upper Midwest and into Canada by both walleye and smallmouth bass anglers. The Compre® rod series was created with specific tapers and well defined actions to maximize your fishing experience. Realizing that a variety of styles and techniques are used to catch a single species of fish, an angler must consider the application and match the rod to it. All Compre rods feature Grade A cork grips for comfort, Fuji® Hardloy® guides. New for 2003, selected casting models will feature the Fuji® Exposed Blank reel seat. Shimano® backs this series with our warranty program offering anglers over-the-counter replacement at participating dealers. If fluke, flounder and stripers off the Atlantic Coast are your target species, we have developed four rods within the Compre series ideally suited for your needs. These stout rods with Fast and Extra Fast tapers will stand up to the riggers of trolling and heavy jigging. The extra long rear grips are a must for deep rod holders on your boat. Noted experts assisted with the design of the four Compre one-piece Muskie rods. These Medium Fast to Fast tapered rods features a durable Carboloy® tip guide with an extended large diameter cork grip for better gripping action. Eight special saltwater flats rods are also available in the Compre series. These Fast tapered rods were designed to meet the demands of flats anglers from the Atlantic to the Gulf coasts.
